Basketball Workout – Handouts
Here are all the handouts from our youth basketball database related to Off Season Basketball Workout Handouts. Coaches, Players, and Parents should feel free to download and print out the handouts as needed. All we ask is that you help us spread the word about the AVCSS Basketball website to others (which could be in the form of sharing links). Other organizations may download and share these basketball workout handouts with permission from AVCSS Basketball (could be in the form of a simple email, etc), and agree to exchange links to our website.
We are constantly adding new handouts to the database – check back often.

Coaching Note: It takes a dedicated player to commit to spending their summer working out on a consistent basis. The information above will assist any hard working player to succeed. A player needs assistance from their coach, and most of all support from their parents. A coach should discuss summer workouts with their players, and provide support (equipment, gym space, etc). If a player has to worry about gym space, rides, or equipment – they are less likely to stay committed to the process.
As a coach I would not interfere with the players summer workout, and allow them time to workout on their own. I would check up on them from time to time to offer assistance and support. I would encourage players to find a workout partner (or two). If players work hard on their game – their improvements will be evident when they show up to practice.
